About the Author

Ralph Droms organized the IETF Dynamic Host Configuration (DHC) working group in 1989 and has chaired the group since its inception. He is a key contributor to the design and development of DHCP and is the editor of the DHCP RFCs. His book, The DHCP Handbook co-authored with Ted Lemon, and the book's companion Web site (www.dhcp-handbook.com) offer comprehensive information for novices and experienced networkers alike.
